Hayley orrantia is a native of America. Her main focus is actress, but also a singer and songwriter. Many people recognize her as Erica Goldberg in the comedy The Goldbergs' TV show. However, she considers herself to be primarily an artist. At the age of 9 of age, she began dabbling into music. At the age 12, she took serious enough about music to start studying professionally. She began songwriting when she was 13 and was 14 when she released her first album of cover songs. Since then there has been never a moment to rest. Orrantia is a native of America, has Hispanic heritage. While she has never lived in or spoken Spanish in Mexico, she still feels very proud about her Hispanic heritage. To preserve the tradition, she's studied Spanish and composed songs that are in Spanish. One of her songs was a Spanish song titled 'Hasta Verte..' Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X-Factor after she submitted a YouTube recording of her audition. She was awarded an impressive four "yes" vote of the judge in the live stage audition in Seattle. Her initial audition was performing as a solo artist, however after "Hollywood Week", three other female performers were put in a group to continue the auditions. The group was eliminated at end of the fifth show.
