Zoe-perry
Perry was born July 25, 1968 in Chicago In Illinois, she was the child of Laurie Metcalf Perry and Jeff Perry. In the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback) Her mother played Jackie Harris in two of Perry's early TV appearances. In fear of stress, her parents did not want to see the actress pursue acting until turning 18. Perry was shy during high school and did not act. The actress began her acting career in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends as she moved to the university from Boston University. After graduating Perry relocated to New York to search for TV work, landing a few roles in shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent but homesickness brought the actress back to California which is where she discovered theatre work. Her mother and she appeared on Broadway with her for the play The Other Place, in 2013. In 2015, she was a part of her father as well as Kevin McKidd in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning film Anna Christie in the Odyssey Theatre Ensemble in West Los Angeles. Perry played a lead role in the drama's nine episodes from 2016 on ABC's show The Family. In 2017, Perry starred in an appearance on ABC's political thriller Scandal alongside her father. Also, she was cast on her role on the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger of Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. She was cast in the role in an audition that was open despite being a fan of this persona.
